Stefano Pedone is the new Service Manager for Northern Italy for FPS Automation’s Robots Business Unit. Born in 1974, raised in Milan, married to a surgeon and father of two daughters, Stefano trained in electronics and has been working in the robotics sector since 1999. He brings with him a wealth of technical expertise combined with a genuine passion for industrial automation.
‘My adventure at FPS began almost by chance,’ he says. ’I had known Fabrizio Peppi and the company for many years, having worked with one of their partners in the past. Some time ago, I called Fabrizio to give him a friend’s CV, and in the end… the opportunity came my way.’
On that occasion, our founder Mr Peppi told him about the creation of the new Robots Business Unit, explaining that he was looking for someone with his experience, capable of effectively managing the installation and programming of robots.
‘So here I am,’ concludes Stefano, ’and I am very happy to be part of such an exciting project.’
Stefano not only brings solid technical expertise to the table, he is also a good listener, meticulous in his attention to detail and scrupulous in his problem solving. Those who know him appreciate his sincere smile and infectious optimism. ‘Yes, I’m an optimist. I believe you should never give up in the face of adversity: every obstacle can be an opportunity to learn something new.’
Outside of work, Stefano has two great passions: football and motorsports. In his youth, he played for Atalanta’s football academy, where he was considered a promising player until a bad injury changed his path. His passion for motorsport, however, is still alive and well: he can sometimes be seen on the track at the wheel of supercars, and he recently drove on the legendary Nürburgring circuit.
