Second stage of the World Championship, ready to Argentina

29 Mar 2019

After a two-weekend break it is time to get back on track for the second event of the 2019 Moto3 World Championship. The stage will be the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, a venue that over the years has been kind to Team Gresini – as the Italian squad always managed to get on the podium in the last three editions.

This year FPS automation is sponsoring the team this year the Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3.

These fifteen days have been crucial for Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3, who were able to regroup and recharge their batteries after the season opener in Qatar. Following an encouraging maiden race on the world stage, Riccardo Rossi will try to make another step forward on a track he has never turned a wheel upon.

Gabriel Rodrigo used the time off wisely to recover the lost fitness condition after the collarbone injury he suffered in Qatar’s pre-race testing. His home race will represent the perfect opportunity for the young Argentine to show what he’s capable of. Despite the pain and discomfort, Rodrigo was able to score points in his debut round with Team Gresini at Losail – less than a week after surgery.
