Team kömmerling gresini score points in the austrian gp

18 Aug 2020

Two very different races wrapped up Gabriel Rodrigo e Jeremy Alcoba’s #AustrianGP weekend with both riders finishing anyway within the top 15 in 11th and 14th,respectively. The more positive piece of news comes again from the rookie #52 who struggled for the majority of the weekend on a track which he has yet to fully get to grips to, but then able to well perform in the race. Alcoba put together a good comeback from 18th on the grid and he did well in staying with the “very stretched” leading group for the majority of the GP.

Very different expectations and a disappointing result for Gabriel Rodrigo who desoite starting from the third row and with an interesting race pace on his side he was unable to make a difference and went all the way down to 19th at some point, before making up some positions and finishing just outside the top ten. Five points with a bitter taste for the Argentine who is now quite far from the top of the standings.

There will be another chance in less than five days and again at the Austrian venue, this time for the Grand Prix of Styria.
