Jeremy Alcoba completes 2020 line-up for team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3

24 Oct 2019

>Jeremy Alcoba will race alongside Gabriel Rodrigo in the Team Kömmerling Gresini Moto3 box for the 2020 season. The Catalan rider, who has already shown talent and speed in the CEV championship, had impressed for his dedication and commitment in the two 2019 World Championship outings aboard the team’s Honda NSF250RW machine.

On two wheels since his first steps – he received the first bike when he was only three years old – Jeremy Alcobaalready has three years of experience in the Moto3 class of the Junior World Championship (CEV) with two fourth places (2017 and 2018), while this year he is current leader in the standings. Alcoba arrives at the Moto3 World Championship as a regular rider after five appearances between 2018 and 2019, the best of which gave him two points at Silverstone (riding with the Kömmerling colours).

The talented Spanish rider will compete in the Moto3 World Championship with the number 52 on his Honda NSF250RW.

JEREMY ALCOBA – GRESINI RIDER

“I would first like to thank those who made my dream possible, Gresini and Monlau. My idea is to learn as much as possible from my team and my teammate Rodrigo, who will certainly be among the riders to beat and a candidate for the World Championship. I hope to improve constantly, Grand Prix after Grand Prix. Obviously the pre-season will be very important in order to get to know the bike better, but if I have to make a list of goals this will include without a doubt to crash the least  possible, to be consistent and to score as many points as I can – while targeting the top ten”.

FAUSTO GRESINI – TEAM MANAGER

“Jeremy is a very interesting rider, very young but with already an important amount of experience in the Spanish Championship. I have to say that I was very impressed this season when he rode with us in Austria and at Silverstone for his dedication and cold-blooded approach… I believe a lot in his potential: to arrive on two unknown tracks and log competitive times straight away, even taking points on one occasion, is not something everybody can do. He’ll be alongside Rodrigo and I’m confident that he can do very well already in his first season”.
